Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, who was a Mormon who was part of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints' original family has fused her amazing ability to write and her remarkable researching skills to create the incredible psychohistorical biographical work, No Man is a Master of My History, which was released in 1945. Its title came from a funeral speech made by Joseph Smith. He said: You didn't know me and you hadn't known my heart. My past is not known by anyone. I cannot tell it. Fawn published the words of 29-year old Fawn. Since that moment more than three writers have taken on the challenge. A lot of them have denigrated him and some have glorified him. A handful have attempted with a diagnosis made by a doctor. It's not the case that these documents lack however they're wildly contradictory. This task is to delineate the original account from the third hand plagiarism and to fit Mormons' stories with those of non-Mormons into the context of a credible historical narrative. is exciting and enlightening. That's the mission to which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Her research and writings brought her fame around the world: Thaddeus Stephens. Scourge of the south (1959) The Devil Drives. The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. An Intimate Historiography (1974) and a posthumously Richard Nixon.
